I’ve been involved in the fitness industry for over 17 years; I’m passionate about it and always looking for new ideas. In 2007, I was looking for ways to accelerate my fitness for football without compromising my strength.  I discovered CrossFit and never looked back.
It’s been an awesome journey! First I became the fourth CrossFit affiliate in Auckland, and then I opened Rapid CrossFit in Sandringham, Auckland, 2010.  Now we’re in an even better facility in Mt. Eden.
I’m truly passionate about the CrossFit way of life; it offers constantly varied and challenging movements executed with intensity- it’s an amazing breakthrough to lifelong fitness.

The most integral factor for me now is the ‘COMMUNITY’ aspect of what we do. I love observing the changes in people; seeing them experience the shift in mindset from an “I can’t do that”, to being able to lift or pull up their own bodyweight is so inspiring.  People reach such huge achievements and it’s incredibly inspiring.  We also find that finding out they could do more physically than they thought possible translates into the rest of their lives- and self-imposed limits melt away.
That can-do attitude,  where people are willing to give it a crack, is rare outside of this community. It allows people to take ownership and responsibility for their wins and training- and that’s what Rapid CrossFit is all about.  I absolutely love my work!
