Having been involved in the fitness industry for the past 15 years, finding CrossFit just 3 years ago has been a real eye opener to the way of life of: “Constantly Varied, Functional Movements executed with Intensity”.
As I began this journey I found it was all about challenging myself & exposing what I wasn’t good at. I enjoy the chase & relish the gains! The biggest part for me now is the “Community”, seeing the changes in people; their mindset shifting from “I can’t do that”, to witnessing someone Clean & Jerk their bodyweight, box jump quarter/half their height or pull up their entire bodyweight.
Witnessing that attitude to give it a crack (which rarely happens outside of this CF community), taking the responsibility for the win (achievement), taking the responsibility for the things you’re not so good at, and learning how to train ‘at the edge’ without injury is what Rapid Crossfit is all about.

Exercising for me began over 12 years ago, beginning a career in my home country of the UK as a trainer/PT. Making the move to NZ and continuing my chosen career over the next 6 years & having tried & trained many different ways, I was introduced to CrossFit over a year ago where everything just started to make sense by giving you everything needed to handle life.
